(33001) 1997 CU29, reasoned reject

(33001) 1997 CU29 is a classical Kuiper belt object discovered in February of 1997. It has a perihelion of 42.2 AU and an aphelion of 45.2 AU. It has an inclination of 1.4º.

When (33001) 1997 CU29 faces the decision-making process, has a great intuition about the limitations and obstacles that are not obvious at all (resonance 4:7 Neptune). Besides, it has a great sense of opportunity in terms of the appropriate way to continue with the development (resonance 6:7 with Pluto).

Diferences with (79360) Sila-Nunam

The discovery of (33001)1997 CU29 was overstriked by the discovery of (79360) Sila-Nunam, whose orbit is very similar. Both are related to decision-making by rational criteria, the main diference is that (79360) Sila-Nunam has an extremely limited margin of time to choose an answer. In most cases it is an almost instinctive reaction (16:9 resonance with Neptune). 

Also, in the case of (79360) Sila-nunam, the decision is made after a sense of direction that comes from the integration of high and low in very diferent ways, like in the movies "The Game" (1997), "Sliding Doors" (1997) and "Red Corner" (1997).
