(134340) Pluto, new moons discovered

Pluto has five known moons:
  • Charon, first identified in June of 1978 (1200 km);
  • two smaller moons, Nix and Hydra, both discovered in 2005;
  • S/2011 P4 [Kerberos] discovered in June-July of 2011;
  • S/2012 P5 [Styx] discovered in June-July of 2012, with prediscovery images back to June of 2010 and February of 2006.

During the discoveries and prediscoveries of the new moons, reappeared the typical themes of (134340) Pluto about specie evolution, like the movies "Superman Returns" (2006), "H2O, Just Add Water" (2006) and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" (2011).

Self-realization

The (134340) Pluto's transformation theme is based in the Jungian 'process of individuation' that integrates one's personality towards the Self (the psyche as whole, the unification of consciousness and unconsciousness in a person).

After this personal transformations, everything outside has to change, because you are in another wave of life, like at the end of the movie "Stone" (2010). The self-realization of (134340) Pluto comes after resolving tasks and problems in the personal life, like in the movie "Luftslottet som sprängdes (The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest) [Millennium 3: La reina en el palacio de las corrientes de aire]" (2010).

"Transformation comes, like death, in its own time.
And, like death, it takes you from one dimension into another."

Mike Brown's Moon Node Horoscope during the discovery of (136108) Haumea

Michael E. Brown (born June 5, 1965) has the centaur Echeclus conjunct Pluto and Deucalion in Virgo in the cusp of the 10th house of the Moon Node Horoscope. The Age Point in the Moon Node Horoscope (AP-MNH) made a golden aspect (68.75º) and a quintil (72º) to Echeclus (also Pluto and Deucalion) during the discovery of Haumea:

Echeclus position is 13º45' Virgo and 0º04' of the 10th Moon Node House. This are the Age Point golden aspects to Echeclus in Brown's Moon Node Horoscope:

AP-MNH +137.5 > 10 Dic 1974
AP-MNH +144 > 28 Mar 1976

AP-MNH -144 > 22 Ago 1990
AP-MNH -137.5 > 10 Dic 1991

!
AP-MNH -72 > 16 Ene 2005
!
AP-MNH -68.75 > 10 Sep 2005

AP-MNH -36 > 28 Mar 2012
AP-MNH -34.38 > 25 Jul 2012

In July 2005 a group of Spanish astronomers [MNH's 10th House] rediscovered Haumea [Deucalion], precovered the orbit [Echeclus] and forced Brown to report quickly other objects discovered [Pluto; Virgo]:

"Ortiz argues that astronomers should report even large, slow-moving transneptunian objects as soon as they confirm the discovery. He told New Scientist that international scientists working together, collaborating and sharing resources can boost science progress and do the best possible job [2005 RM43]." (New Scientist)

(134340) Pluto, individual evolution toward complexity

Transformation comes, like death, in its own time.
And, like death, it takes you from one dimension into another.
(Osho-Zen Tarot)

(134340) Pluto is a Kuiper belt object discovered in February of 1930. It has a perihelion of 29.7 AU and an aphelion of 49.3 AU. It has a diameter of about 2300 km. There are prediscovery images back to January of 1927, December of 1925, January of 1921, December of 1919, April and March of 1915, and November and January of 1914. It was observed in the years 1965, 1985, 1988 and 1990. It has an inclination of 17.2º.

The moon Charon was discovered i
n June of 1978 (1200 km). Two smaller moons, Nix (60 km) and Hydra (75 km), were both discovered in 2005. Some astronomer call it "dwarf double planet" (Pluto-Charon). Eris (2600 km) is a bit larger than Pluto (2300 km), but from an astrological point of view, this binary system is very important, because Pluto is always conjunct Charon (1200 km).

(134340) Pluto aspire to perfection like in the movies "King Kong" (1933, 2005) and "Superman" (comic 1932; movie 1978). Is concerned with evolution by eliminating the low aspects of personality and developing the high ones, from complex emotional interactions, quite turbulent, which are not always visible from the outside.

The end result is a maturation process, like in the video game "Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer" (PS2, 2005) or the characters of the TV manga series "Dragon Ball" (1986).

After (134340) Pluto's transformation, personality is more complex: more differentiated, but at the same time more integrated.

(90482) Orcus, global evolution

(90482) Orcus was discovered in February of 2004 and named in November of 2004. It has a perihelion of 30.3 AU and an aphelion of 48.1 AU. It has a diameter of about 950 km. There are prediscovery images back to December and January of 2003, March, February and January of 2002, December and January of 2001, December of 2000, April of 1996, March of 1993, November and January of 1992, February of 1991, November of 1954 and November of 1951.

Etruscan mythology

Orcus was the grim reaper, collecting the dead and bringing them to the underworld.

Orcs are creatures of the fantastic universe of JRR Tolkien, that --as many others -- have aversion to direct sunlight, so its activity begins as it gets dark and ends shortly before the first rays of the sun.

If the key word for (134340) Pluto is 'core', then the key word for (90482) Orcus is 'context'.

The aim with (134340) Pluto is to reach the core of our deep inner self to make a personal transformation. After that, we are a new person, and that finally changes our whole word. We have reached the next step in the individual evolution.

With (90482) Orcus, what really matters is the context outside us, which we are part of it. The decision about life or death, about to continue a task or abandon it, are taken depending on the external situation, because with (90482) Orcus the aim is not the individual evolution (as Pluto), but the global evolution of the whole group which we are part of it.

Sometimes the only way to save the people close to us, is to renounce to life (like Silka at the beginning of the movie "Brother Bear", 2004). And sometimes the only way is fighting for life (like Kenai at the end of the movie "Brother Bear", 2004). It depends on the specific situation or context.
