A moon was discovered in the year 2011. There are prediscovery images back to June-May of 2002, March of 1994, June and March of 1993, June and May of 1992, July of 1989, July of 1984, May of 1983 and March of 1980. (174567) 2003 MW12 [Varda] was numbered in January of 2008.
