Dziewanna was the Slavic Goddess of the wild nature, forests and the hunt. Gold-haired, young and beautiful, she brought the spring and revitalized the Earth. Wild yellow mullein flowers (Polish: dziewanna) were her symbol. Dried, they served as torches during her celebrations.
